“2 days ago a young girl of only 17 living in foster care delivered a tiny little baby girl. This little baby will go home with her young mother today and will start her life with love and struggles many of us will never know. The reasons for the pregnancy are not known to us but the new life a little baby girl has in fact begun. The generous support we receive from so many organizations and individuals, the little blankets we receive from the Bundle up crew, and the volunteer hours that we share with many lovely people have made a difference today. We were able to provide that new baby with a brand new clean safe car seat, with a clean safe bed to call her own, a bath tub safe for small hands and feet, with clean age appropriate clothing, and with materials and resource information to help mom get on a successful path of independence.
